I’ve got some good coronavirus news for you today. There is a paper titled “High Temperature and High Humidity Reduce the Transmission of COVID-19.”

According to this paper, higher temperatures and higher humidity significantly reduce the spread of the coronavirus. This means that the arrival of summer and a rainy season may effectively decrease the spread of COVID-19.

This could make sense because when the coronavirus pandemic first began, certain countries that were warmer and more humid had fewer coronavirus cases than countries with a colder and less humid climate at the time.

In the next few months, as the temperature is warming up and the humidity is increasing, I think we may see a significant drop in the spread of the coronavirus.

What about Australia? It's warm and humid there right now and they have a ChinoVirus outbreak…

  • Richard Goma says:

Only a couple days later and this information is already wrong, climate does not seem to affect the virus, just watch march 27 update by dr john campbell.
And thailand, malaysia and indonesia are hot and humid yet it is spreading there. Again you're downplaying the virus and putting your followers and other around them at risk, you're just losing more credibility here.

  • What about Florida and New Orleans? It's hot in there

  • Does this mean that sauna can heal you faster, if it affects virus reproduction?

Well I'm in Florida, temps in the upper 80's and 90's for two weeks, humidity 55 percent, cases have increased, we're now at 4,100 as of today 28th March. Granted we have not had rain for a month, but warm temps alone will not do it, needs the high humidity I guess. Thanks for helping us though.

Tuberculosis is a global pandemic, killing someone approximately every 21 seconds. Killing about 1.5 million in 2018 alone and yet nothing shut down in 2018 and the media rarely talked about it and yes TB is highly contagious.

One thing I cannot figure out is humidity. I understand hot whether can kill viruses but humidity can act as a virus vector somehow I think!
